In a Monday night showdown, signal-caller Brock Purdy delivered a historic outing, tossing a career-best five touchdown passes to propel his team to a commanding forty-eight to twenty-seven victory. The winning effort was capped off by a crucial 74-yard pick-six for a score.

Offensive Fireworks Lead the Way

Purdy was remarkably efficient, connecting on 25 of his 34 attempts for 295 yards. His primary weapons included standout tailback Christian McCaffrey, who gained 117 yards on 21 carries and also caught six passes for 29 yards and two touchdowns. Receiver George Kittle likewise excelled, securing seven catches for 115 yards and a score.

Playoff Landscape Coming into Focus

With this win, the winning side continued their winning streak to five consecutive games, strengthening their standing in the hunt for a high postseason berth. This triumph also snapped a five-game losing skid against this particular opponent.

The opposing quarterback, in his second start after a five-year absence, posted a valiant fight, passing for 277 yards and two touchdowns. However, a fourth-quarter turnover returned for a score ultimately sealed the game.

Game Summary

• Opening Frame: The action began with a 20-yard touchdown pass from the visiting quarterback. Purdy answered with a twenty-two-yard scoring strike to even the game.
• Second Quarter: After a fumble on the kickoff, Purdy found McCaffrey for a two-yard touchdown. The opponents tied it up before Purdy threw his third TD pass to regain the lead.
